Kuruca grew out of the Kuruca family’s hazelnut orchards in Espiye. It was founded in 2025 by Dr. Yasemin Kuruca, who leads the business.

Giresun is one of Türkiye’s best-known hazelnut regions, and Espiye is where the Kuruca family’s orchards are.
Kuruca exists to bring that harvest to business buyers in a way that is simple to work with: a clear conversation about what you need, and a clear answer about what we can supply.
The founder
Dr. Yasemin Kuruca.
Yasemin Kuruca holds a PhD in cinema. After a 16,000 km cycling journey across Asia, she returned to the family orchards in Espiye and founded Kuruca in 2025.
