What we collect and why
Business enquiry form
If you send an enquiry we receive what you type in: your name, business e-mail, company, country, type of business, the products you are interested in, an optional quantity and your message. We use it to read and answer your enquiry and to continue the business conversation you started. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.
E-mails and WhatsApp messages you send us
If you write to us directly by e-mail or WhatsApp, we keep your message, your contact details and our reply for the same purpose. WhatsApp messages are also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy.
Server records
Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each visit (such as IP address, date and the page requested) in server logs. This is used to keep the website secure and working. We do not use it to identify you.
Website analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose Accept analytics in the cookie bar, we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to learn which pages are visited and how visitors find the site. Google sets cookies in your browser for this. If you choose Decline, or do nothing, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are not loaded, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. Our legal basis is your consent.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses the following:
- Your cookie choice (
kuruca-consent): stored in your browser's local storage to remember whether you accepted or declined. It never leaves your device. - Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*): set only after you accept analytics. They last up to two years and let us count visits and see how the site is used in aggregate.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. To remove cookies that were already set, delete them in your browser settings.
Who receives your data
- Hostinger, our website hosting and e-mail provider. The website is hosted on servers in the European Union (Germany). Your enquiry passes through Hostinger systems so that it can be delivered to our inbox.
- Google, only if you accept analytics. Google may process this data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards Google describes in its own terms.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and e-mails stay in our inbox for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and then are deleted. You can ask us to delete yours earlier.
- The website itself does not keep a database of enquiries.
- Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, object to our use of it, and withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing does not affect what was done before). If you are in Türkiye, the same kinds of rights apply under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698). Write to info@kurucahazelnut.com and we will respond. You can also complain to your national data protection authority, or in Türkiye to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
Changes to this notice
If we change how the website handles personal data, we will update this page and its date.
